What It Means 2Create

Like any little baby, I liked to play. Making stories with my Barbie dolls; playing pretend with a toy cash register. I’ve always found ways to live in my imagination. My favorite, though, was crayons and paper. I never stopped drawing. I never stopped playing. Now at 20, I’m making-believe that I’m working hard at my career as an artist. But I am only just starting this story.

I am building this story, this career, from scratch at the moment. I have pieces that I’ve done, but many of them don’t represent the aim of my art career, more so just hobbyist creations. I don’t have a functioning portfolio. I look forward to seeing my portfolio build itself as I post works here over time.

It’s hard being 20, you don’t have enough experience in how the world works yet. I’m trying to figure that out while I figure out how to make a living from a passion. So, if you’re considering following me, you might get a kick out of my struggle.

Still to this day, there is nothing that I enjoy more than to create. I’m working now to create my future.
